Dedicated support from our U.S. team

Meet the Irene House 9188E Pro — the oversized 9188E, upgraded. Start with the biggest change: our self-developed All-in-One hand control. Lift, recline, tilt the headrest, run the heat and massage, and save two favorite positions to memory — all from one remote instead of two.

Underneath, a third motor now drives the headrest independently, so you can change your neck angle without giving up the back angle or the leg height you had already settled into.

Everything that made the 9188E fit stays the same: a 27" wide, 21.5" deep seat on a 38" frame, rated to 400 lb and sized for 5'5"–6'3", on a 5 mm steel plate — 66% more steel than the previous generation. Infinite positions from 105° to a fully flat 180°. Four-point vibration massage with dual-zone heating at the lumbar and seat. Four raised side pockets, plus USB-A and USB-C charging.

35-day risk-free trial. 2 years electronics · 3 years upholstery · 3 years mechanism · 3 years frame.

Pairs Well With

Will I actually fit?

A wider seat with room to spare.

The 9188E Pro gives you a 27" wide, 21.5" deep seat on a 38" frame, rated to 400 lb and sized for 5'5"–6'3". If regular chairs pinch at the hips, this is the one sized for you.

“Comfy, yet supportive. Money well spent.”

Irene House 9188E Pro all-in-one remote beside the classic two-controller design — lift, two memory positions, heat and massage on one handset

What the Pro changes

One remote. Not two.

The 9188E ships with two controllers — one for the chair, one for heat and massage. Owners told us what that means day to day: the one you need is the one you're not holding, and neither is easy to read once you're reclined.

The Pro replaces both with a single remote. Motion controls sit at the top. One circle handles lift, home, and two memory positions. Heat and massage each get their own row below. You learn it by where the buttons are, not by reading what they say.

Independent adjustment · REC 1 / REC 2

Three motors. Two positions you can save.

The 9188E moves the backrest and footrest independently. The Pro adds a third motor for the headrest — tilt your neck without giving up the back angle or the leg height you had already settled into.

Once a position works, press SET, then REC 1 or REC 2. Next time one press brings it back, instead of rebuilding it button by button.

What actually holds 400 lb

5 mm steel where the weight lands — 66% thicker than the last generation.

A 400 lb rating is easy to print and hard to build. Under the 9188E Pro, the steel plate is thickened to 5 mm — 66% more steel than the previous generation — on a tubular-steel lift base, with two motors driving the backrest and footrest independently through infinite stops from 105° to 180°.

So the extra room doesn't come with a compromise underneath it.

“It is built well and sturdy.”

Getting up shouldn't be the hard part

Tested 20,000 times under 400 lb — before it ever lifts you.

The lift is driven by TiMotion actuators — an industry-recognized high-performance drive, and one of the most expensive components in this chair. The mechanism is cycle-tested 20,000 times under a 400 lb load.

We don't ask you to take “steady” on faith: the mechanism carries a 3-year written warranty, and owners put it plainly — “The lift function makes standing up pain-free.” · “Very quiet in operation.”

A person lying back in the Irene House 9188E Pro with legs supported on the extendable footrest, raised 7 cm higher than the previous generation

Owners taught us this

Why this footrest sits 7 cm higher.

Heavier legs press a standard footrest down — owners at 400 and 500 lb told us so, year after year. So the 9188E Pro's footrest is raised 7 cm and built on the 5 mm steel plate, designed to counter the weight of bigger legs instead of sagging under them.

It's the kind of detail you only design when you actually listen to heavier owners.

Comfort that earns its place

Heat and massage, once you're supported.

Four-point vibration massage and dual-zone heating for the lumbar and seat, with an auto-off timer — on the same remote as everything else. Sitting well for hours is less about one perfect position than about being able to change it. Backrest, footrest and headrest move independently, so shifting your legs never costs you the back angle you had settled into.

Second generation, shaped by feedback.

The 2nd-generation 9188E Pro was built on real customer feedback: four side pockets, positioned higher so you can reach them while reclined, and USB-A + USB-C charging ports to keep your phone close.

Getting it into your home

The 9188E Pro ships in 3 boxes that may arrive on different days — don't worry if they don't come together. Assembly is tool-free: the pieces slide into place, and casters make it easy to position before it finds its permanent spot.

If it's not the right fit

35-day risk-free trial — if it isn't right once it arrives, contact our care team within 35 days of delivery. Coverage after that is written down, not implied: 2 years electronics · 3 years upholstery · 3 years mechanism · 3 years frame, with motors, remotes and covers replaceable individually — no whole-chair swap.

What's different between the 9188E and the 9188E Pro?

Same 400 lb frame, same 27" seat, same 105°–180° range. The Pro adds a third motor for the headrest and replaces the two controllers with a single remote that also stores two positions you can return to with one press.

Who is the 9188E Pro for?

Bigger-framed users about 5'5"–6'3", up to 400 lb, who want a wider (27") and deeper seat than a standard lift chair.

Does it lie fully flat?

Yes — infinite positions from 105° to a fully flat 180°, with the backrest and footrest controlled independently.

How is it delivered?

In 3 boxes that may arrive on different days. Assembly is tool-free — the pieces slide together in a few steps, and you can always call us if you'd like a hand.
