Triple Motor Lift Recliners

The Pro series: three motors, one remote. A third motor moves the headrest on its own, and the whole chair — lift, recline, headrest, heat and massage — runs from one hand control with two memory positions. Four sizes, petite to big & tall, below.

Irene House Pro triple motor lift recliners side by side: 9188 Pro in cream white chenille, 9188E Pro in top grain leather and 9205L Pro in top grain leather
What the third motor does

Backrest, footrest, headrest — each on its own motor.

Three independent motors

Motor one moves the backrest, two the footrest, three the headrest. Change one without losing the position you already like in the other two — from upright to a true 180° lay-flat.

One remote: buttons on top, rocker switches in the middle

Lift, home and the two memory buttons sit on the top circle. In the middle are three chair-shaped rocker switches — one each for the backrest, footrest and headrest: rock up to raise, down to lower, release to stop. Heat and massage buttons sit below.

What else Pro adds

A powered, adjustable headrest, a raised side pocket for the remote, and USB-A plus USB-C charging on the armrest.

Same fit as the classic

Each Pro keeps the frame, seat width, weight rating and height range of its classic model — the 9188 Pro fits the same people as the 9188. Choose the size first.

Lay-flat

All four Pro models recline 105°–180° — a true lay-flat with infinite positions in between.

What is not here

Our 500 lb 9188 EWT500 and 9205 EWT500 also use three motors, but there the extra motor shares the lift — no headrest motor, no memory remote, and they stop at 165°. They are on the Heavy Duty page.

How to choose

Fit first. The third motor is the same on all four.

1 · Your weight

300 lb: 9188S Pro. 350 lb: 9188 Pro. 400 lb: 9188E Pro and 9205L Pro. Pick the rating above your weight, not at it; over 400 lb, see Heavy Duty.

2 · Your height

4'7"–5'5" petite · 5'2"–5'9" standard · 5'5"–6'3" wide seat · 5'7"–6'6" big & tall with the extended footrest.

3 · Seat width

18" · 23" · 26" · 27.5". Measure across your hips on a firm chair and leave room to shift.

4 · Pro or classic

Want the headrest on its own motor and one remote with memory? Pro. Happy with back and footrest only? The classic dual-motor version of the same size costs less.

5 · Lay-flat

All four lie flat at 180°.

6 · Cover

Chenille, faux leather and top grain leather, depending on the model. Cards count only colours in stock.

Irene House Pro series all-in-one remote: lift, home and two memory positions on the top circle, heat and massage below, replacing the classic two-controller design
Pro series

One remote. Two memory positions.

On the Pro models the third motor drives the headrest, and the whole chair is run from one hand control. The top circle holds the lift, home and two memory buttons — set your TV position as REC1 and your sleeping position as REC2, and the chair returns to either with one press. The three chair-shaped controls in the middle are not buttons but rocker switches, one each for the backrest, footrest and headrest: rock the top edge to raise, the bottom edge to lower, and let go to stop exactly where you are. Heat and massage controls sit at the bottom.

Change the headrest without giving up the recline you already like.

Need 500 lb, or prefer two motors?

Heavy duty is on its own page. Every size here also comes as a classic dual-motor chair.

Questions

Triple motor lift recliner FAQ

What does "triple motor" mean on an Irene House Pro lift recliner?

Three motors move the backrest, the footrest and the headrest independently, so you can adjust one without changing the other two. The classic models use two motors — backrest and footrest — and have no powered headrest.

Is a triple motor lift recliner better than a dual motor one?

Not automatically. A dual-motor chair already moves back and footrest independently. Choose a Pro if you want a powered headrest and one remote with memory positions. If you do not need those, the classic dual-motor chair in the right fit is the better buy.

Which Pro triple motor lift recliners do you make, and who fits them?

9188S Pro (petite, 300 lb, 18" seat), 9188 Pro (standard, 350 lb, 23"), 9188E Pro (wide seat, 400 lb, 26") and 9205L Pro (big & tall, 400 lb, 27.5", extended footrest). The cards above show what is in stock.

How does the Pro all-in-one remote work?

One hand control runs everything. The top circle has the lift, home and two memory buttons: set a position with SET, then press REC1 or REC2 to return to it. The three chair-shaped controls in the middle are rocker switches, not buttons — one each for the backrest, footrest and headrest. Rock the top to raise, the bottom to lower, and release to stop. Heat and massage controls are at the bottom. The classic models use two separate controllers.

Do the Pro models lie flat?

Yes — all four recline from 105° to a true 180° lay-flat, with infinite positions in between.

Is there a 500 lb triple motor lift recliner?

Our 500 lb models, the 9188 EWT500 and 9205 EWT500, also use three motors — but there the extra motor shares the lift, there is no powered headrest or memory remote, and they recline to 165°. They are not Pro models; find them on the Heavy Duty page.

Does a Pro fit the same person as the classic of the same size?

Yes. Each Pro keeps the frame, seat width, weight rating and recommended height of its classic model. The difference is the headrest motor, the remote, the raised side pocket and the USB-A/USB-C ports.

How does it ship?

Each product page lists its box count and whether in-home assembly is offered. The remote is wired on every model.
