The 9188 is the model we have sold the most of, and the one we have had the longest to get right. It is sized for the middle of the range — roughly 5'2" to 5'9", rated to 300 lbs — with a deep seat, a classic silhouette, and a dual-motor system that moves the backrest and footrest independently.

Second-Generation Upgrade — built from owner feedback.
- Four side pockets, repositioned higher — owners told us the old pockets meant bending down. Now the remote and your essentials sit within easy reach, even while reclined.
- 18 W fast-charge USB-A and USB-C — enough to charge a phone or tablet properly, not just trickle it.
- Externally replaceable charging module — the port unit releases from the outside of the chair, so it can be swapped without taking anything apart.
Tuned for longer sitting. We reworked both the seat and the backrest based on what owners told us about sitting for hours rather than minutes. The aim was not the softest possible cushion, but a balance that works for a wider range of body types.
Upgraded heating, across the seat as well as the back. The heating element itself was upgraded, and heat now covers a large area of the seat cushion rather than the backrest alone — so the warmth reaches more of you.
S-spring lumbar support. We added S-springs through the lumbar section, so the lower back is held rather than left to sink. It is the part of the chair you notice least when it is right, and most when it is missing.
Infinite positions including a full 180° lay-flat, 4-mode back massage, and lift assist that helps make the transition to standing easier and more controlled.
