The 9205 is built for people who want to sink in. A deep grid-tufted back, thick bolster arms and a three-panel seat make it fully cushioned from shoulders to knees, and the wide frame carries up to 400 lbs. Sized for roughly 5'7" to 6'3".

2nd Generation Upgrade. Redesigned around real customer feedback:

  • Four side pockets — two on each side, positioned higher so the remote and your essentials stay within reach without bending down, even while reclined.

  • 66% thicker footrest steel plate — up from 3 mm to 5 mm (0.12" to 0.2") vs. the 1st generation, for significantly greater footrest stability under heavier legs. Extended, it now sits about 2" (5 cm) higher than the 1st generation.

A 400 lb rating is easy to print and hard to build. Under the 9205, the steel plate is thickened to 5 mm — 66% more steel than the previous generation — on a tubular-steel lift base, with two motors driving the backrest and footrest independently through infinite positions from 105° to 180°.

The chair is handsome looking, and comfortable. It has an extended footrest but the footrest is manual, not remote control. If you have trouble with your balance and getting up, it makes it more difficult to stand to your feet when the footrest is down and you need a second person to manually fold the footrest up. We brought the oversize chair with the extended footrest so my sister could be comfortable sleeping in it at night and be able to get up to go to the bathroom on her own.

I am very happy with this chair. The overall quality is excellent, and it feels sturdy, well-made, and built to last. I really do love this chair. I love the ease of movement and it is so comfortable and plush definitely enough room and the massage is great. Everything is great. My only critique is that the foot rest extender you can’t get it put down while it’s reclined, unless you have really strong legs and can pull your knees up to your chin and then put it down with your heels which I don’t and can’t, but you can’t put it down while it’s not reclined either but other than that it’s an awesome Chair.
