Cleaning-quick steps to clean the chair:
This lift chair is driven by dual motors, each of which can operate independently. Since the backrest and footrest can be adjusted separately, you can easily achieve any desired position. This chair helps the elderly to stand up effortlessly and is an ideal choice for those with leg or back problems or those who require post-operative care.
For safety -The massage & heat will automatically stop working after about 15 minutes, and you can turn it back on if you need to continue the massage or heat.
There is a loop for hanging the remote on each side, which is available on either side. (two side pockets available). Large pockets on both sides for items.
The packages get picked up from our warehouse at the same time, but somehow through the FedEx sorting process, sometimes they are seperated and come on different days. This is something that is unfortunately out of our control.

I purchased this after shoulder surgery, and it made recovery so much easier. I could sleep in it comfortably for weeks. I’ve purchased the chair when I was still in the hospital. It arrived quickly and wasn’t difficult to assemble. It’s beautiful, and it helps me tremendously: I can get up off it on my own by standing it up all the way, and I can also take naps on it in the family room whenever I get tired without getting upstairs to my bed. Its a comfortable chair, Made in China, Safety warning says to sit center in chair or it may bend the lift mechanism parts. Where the motor connects to the moving parts of the chair is a bit cheaply made with a lot of back and forth play. I liked that it came with the pillow for the gap when its laying flat and it came with the power pack battery for power failures.

The chair arrived on two separate days due to the 4th of July holiday but that was fine . The olircif this chairs snd fabric is just beautiful, it’s comfortable snd the lift part Is awesome, due to bad knees I have a problem getting up and this is perfect for me. Ted install went well, the installer was right on time very personable and respectful, very nice young man. I will admitt I had to look at instructions I could not find plug in and remote if I would of looked at instruction I would have known. The parts right were they said. My Irene House lay flat lift recliner #9199 is really beautiful. To keep it beautiful I wanted armrest and headrest covers. I contacted Irene House. The made me covers, to my specifications. Now my chair is protected and ready for use. The assembly of the chair was really simple. The chair has infinite positioning making it versatile, and applicable for all physical needs. The movement of the chair is slow and quiet. The slow part is particularly nice if chair's being used by an elderly person for whom speed can be unsettling. We're enjoying our new chair. I recommend this chair and Irene House. Excellent customer service.

I'm pleased with this recliner, the good service from Irene House, and the very competitive price point. The medium fits my 5'4" frame so well; I really appreciate the offerings that specifically fit women and shorter men, with the higher leg extension. Very realistic presentation, except yellow/brown color is a tad grayer than shown on the vibrant website photos. The leather finish is better than might be expected at even a higher price. This recliner should last for years and continue serving me well.

This is my first old guy chair! Seems to be well made and is definitely comfortable. I like the leather. Hopefully my dogs won't rip the fabric when they jump up on it. There are many selections for what I want it to do. I'm still practicing and figuring out what I like best.

We have three recliners and this is my least favorite. I find sleeping quite uncomfortable with something hard ( a bar?) across my back and a configuration that makes it impossible to position my arm comfortably. It also rocks a fair bit upon lifting and lowering which makes me concerned about it long term. As a chair it is comfortable and attractive.

We love our chairs! From the start, it was so easy to walk through the web site and get ideas to work with. I already had an idea that I did not need a huge chair as I am only 5'2" inches, but my husband is 6'. The dimensions were laid out so that we had a strong idea about the sizing. Then I found "The Chat Room". They had so many questions to answer for me, but is the first very professional one that I could use without getting hung up on or they just don't answer your questions. Please understand that I am not computer literate, but I was listened to and felt important and I told Irene House how much this was appreciated. So make sure you ask your questions. Now the good stuff. I was told 3 to 8 days delivery. 3 days and we had boxes. Packaged so it would be rare to have damaged goods. When we opened the box, I was pleased with the color because it looked just like what I saw on the computer. The fabric is really great caliber and all the pieces were very well constructed. We looked at the video one more time, laid out the pieces and went to work. Our daughter was here and she was the labor (she is pint size!) It went together just like that. I was sitting in my new chair within a half hour, from opening the box to kicking back. Do we sound happy. Yes. I have already recommended Irene House to my brother and I have visiting nurses that I have recommended this company to. They have patients that need that extra help as I do, to stay mobile. Irene House is my new hero as I got what I paid for. That's another thing, I did look at many other companies, but Irene House was not priced high and I really feel we got the quality that we wanted.
