The 9205 is built for people who want to sink in. A deep grid-tufted back, thick bolster arms and a three-panel seat make it fully cushioned from shoulders to knees, and the wide frame carries up to 400 lbs. Sized for roughly 5'7" to 6'3".

2nd Generation Upgrade. Redesigned around real customer feedback:

  • Four side pockets — two on each side, positioned higher so the remote and your essentials stay within reach without bending down, even while reclined.
  • USB-A and USB-C charging ports — charge your phone or tablet from the chair.
  • Upgraded hardwood frame — redesigned for greater structural stability and a longer service life.
  • Reinforced steel frame — rebuilt for heavy-duty daily use.
  • 66% thicker footrest steel plate — up from 3 mm to 5 mm (0.12" to 0.2") vs. the 1st generation, for significantly greater footrest stability under heavier legs. Extended, it now sits about 2" (5 cm) higher than the 1st generation.

Who is the 9205 designed for?

The 9205 is designed for taller and larger users between 5'7" and 6'3", up to 400 lbs. It features a high backrest, extended seat depth, and a 27.5" wide seat for full-body support, plus 4-point massage and lumbar heat.
Does the 9205 lay flat? Can I sleep in it?

Yes. The dual-motor design adjusts the backrest and footrest independently, reclining from 105° to a fully flat 180° position — comfortable for naps and overnight sleeping.
How many boxes does the 9205 ship in? Is assembly difficult?

The 9205 ships in 2 boxes (Box 1: 35.0" x 11.4" x 33.1"; Box 2: 38.2" x 33.5" x 20.9"), which may arrive on different days — don't worry if they don't show up together. Assembly is tool-free and takes just a few simple steps.
How much space does the 9205 need?

Fully assembled, the 9205 measures 46"H x 40.5"W x 43.5"D. It ships unassembled in 2 boxes, so doorways aren't a concern — each box fits easily through standard doors. When placing the chair, it needs at least 22" of wall clearance to fully recline — we recommend leaving about 25" for comfortable everyday use.

This chair is even more comfortable and spacious than I expected. The seat is wide and deep, giving me plenty of room to sit naturally without feeling cramped. I am very happy with this chair. The overall quality is excellent, and it feels sturdy, well-made, and built to last. The upholstery feels soft and comfortable, while the padding provides great support without being too firm. I can sit or recline in it for a long time without feeling uncomfortable, and the backrest, seat, and leg rest support my body very well. One of the things I like most is the size. I really do love this chair. I love the ease of movement and it is so comfortable and plush definitely enough room and the massage is great. Everything is great. My only critique is that the foot rest extender you can’t get it put down while it’s reclined, unless you have really strong legs and can pull your knees up to your chin and then put it down with your heels which I don’t and can’t, but you can’t put it down while it’s not reclined either but other than that it’s an awesome Chair.

The Lift Recliner Chair is just what my husband needed. It is well made for a larger person, and the lumbar support helps with his back that has three fractures.
